Juan Bravo is an original mixed-media painting by Pepa González. Combining oil paint with seven collage elements individually cut from old books and magazines, the work presents Pepa’s colorful and distinctive interpretation of the historic Castilian figure closely associated with her native Segovia.

The number “7” beside Pepa’s signature records the number of collage cutouts incorporated into the painting.
